Who We Are

Robert Rimany, founder and owner of Alvian Custom Homes started his construction career in the state of New York in 1986. Inspired by the craftsmanship found in majestic homes of Westchester County NY and Greenwich CT, Robert has a vision of a different kind of home building company that would build high quality, true custom homes for less money. After more than a decade and a half of construction success in New York, Robert relocated his family and custom home building business to Southwest Florida in 2002.

As a “boutique” style custom home builder, Robert builds relationships first, then remarkable homes. Careful consideration goes into every custom home Robert designs and builds. He takes the time to learn about you and your family and what’s ultimately important to you. By doing so he is able to incorporate design elements that other builders may miss. Establishing a clear budget and setting realistic expectations ensure that your original objective is achieved. Customer satisfaction and a spectacular end result don’t happen by luck, they happen starting from the ground up.

Robert believed the company needed to build custom homes of better quality at a lower cost and still provide exemplary service to its customers. Whether small or large, he wanted every home to be custom designed and built to meet the individual needs of each owner and their family. To be successful he knew the company would have to adhere to a “customer first” philosophy, follow honest straightforward principles and have respect for its customers, employees and community.

Since then, Robert has been the builder of choice for the personal residence of many real estate professionals, financial planners and even retired builders. Now, over 25 years later and hundreds of satisfied customers, Robert’s vision for Alvian Custom Homes is still going strong. We have had a lot of homes built and it is not always a pleasant experience for a variety of reasons. We knew this house that we were building was our last one so we shopped very carefully before making a selection. We needed someone that we could trust in every way so that the working relationships would be pleasant. Money was really tight so we also had to get the very “best for the buck.” We were surprised that Alvian was close to $200,000 less than some of the other quality builders that we considered. Alvian Homes is a great custom builder in SW Florida. My husband and I moved our family down to Cape Coral and wanted to build our dream home. We went from model to model trying to find the perfect builder for us. What we found was, all the models were the same. All the builders were building the same home with just little variations to the exterior elevation. That all changed when we found Alvian Homes. Once we spoke with Rob and his team at Alvian Homes and saw some of the homes that they had build, we knew that we had finally found the builder for us. The Building process from beginning to end was wonderful and the final product was a beautiful home that was everything that we had ever hoped for. Choosing the right builder that you can trust can be more important than the home you choose to build. One of the worst things that can happen to you is that the builder you choose goes out of business or doesn’t finish the job. That’s exactly what happened to me and my family. About half way through our project the builder we hired stopped working on our dream home. The situation devastated us both financially and emotionally. Fortunately, someone that was in a similar predicament recommended we talk with Rob from Alvian Homes. Rob not only finished my house but completed several others that the same builder left unfinished or in some cases never even started after taking deposits.
